Why we exist
Companies operating complex networks have always faced hard choices. An airline managing in-flight connectivity, a cruise line delivering guest experiences and a telecom provider running mobile backhaul work in different environments but face many of the same constraints.
Prioritize performance.
Costs rise.
Optimize for cost.
Experience declines.
Add capacity.
Demand catches up.
Those tradeoffs are becoming harder to manage. Data at the edge is growing faster than companies can move or act on it, while networks span more providers, satellite orbits and terrestrial technologies.
As bandwidth expands, the bottleneck is shifting from capacity to intelligence. Connectivity can no longer be treated as a fixed pipe. It has to adapt to the value and urgency of the data, where it needs to go and what matters most to the business.
That's the problem Quvia was built to solve.
Where we started
Connectivity business models and technologies weren’t designed for things that move. Companies operating aircraft and ships depended on satellite connectivity, but the systems managing it relied on static rules and limited context, even as external variables such as location, coverage, network availability and weather changed — minute by minute.
Quvia was founded in 2019 to close that gap. It was built to make the network adaptive, responding continuously as conditions and priorities change. Starting in aviation and maritime meant solving the hardest version of the connectivity problem from day one: moving assets, shifting coverage, multiple providers and finite, costly capacity.
Those constraints shaped a platform built for the hardest edge environments first, creating the foundation to bring real-time orchestration to any environment where connectivity must adapt to changing conditions, demand and business priorities.

What we built
Quvia brings network, application and operational context together with intelligent orchestration in one platform, giving companies the visibility and control to manage the tradeoffs between cost, capacity, performance and experience as conditions and priorities change.
Quvia provides independent visibility across networks, links, applications and users. Its proprietary Quality of Experience (QoE) score measures the experience connectivity is actually delivering, while broader analytics connect performance to cost, usage and demand. Teams can resolve issues faster, plan capacity and make more informed operational, commercial and connectivity decisions.
Quvia orchestrates connectivity and data across satellite, cellular and terrestrial networks. Quvia's proprietary machine learning models make decisions every 50 milliseconds, continuously evaluating measurements across every link and traffic class to balance cost, capacity, performance and business priorities as conditions change — improving QoE while using network resources more efficiently.
As the digital fabric between edge and cloud, Quvia makes the network an enabler of new operational capabilities, digital experiences and AI in environments where connectivity has long set the limits. Across industries, that means more efficient and autonomous operations, differentiated customer experiences and new services and revenue models.

"The value created above the network will be orders of magnitude greater than the network itself. Unlocking it requires a digital fabric that allows edge and cloud to work as one, so data can move and intelligence can act wherever the operation runs."
