Independent QoE and network insights will give LATAM a consistent view of IFC performance as it expands onboard Wi-Fi and advances the customer experience
MIRAMAR, Fla.—October 26, 2026—Quvia, an edge-to-cloud network platform, today announced that LATAM Airlines is deploying Quvia to get an independent, real-time view of in-flight connectivity (IFC) performance and passenger Quality of Experience (QoE), supporting LATAM’s broader efforts to enhance onboard connectivity and the customer experience.
LATAM continues to invest across the travel experience, including digital services, cabin modernization and the expansion of onboard Wi-Fi. Quvia will provide LATAM with real-time insight into how IFC is performing for passengers across flights, aircraft and routes, adding an independent layer of intelligence as its connected cabin evolves.
“We want onboard connectivity to better meet our passengers’ needs. Working with Quvia will give us greater insight into Wi-Fi performance, help us identify opportunities for improvement, and inform our decisions as we continue to enhance the travel experience,” said Jaime Swett Cornejo, Director of Cabin Interior & IFEC, LATAM Airlines.
Quvia combines application-level passenger QoE with network performance data to show how the experience is performing and what is driving it, helping LATAM identify issues, track performance and make informed connectivity decisions.
“As IFC evolves, airlines have an opportunity to take greater control of the in-flight digital experience,” said Mike Moeller, SVP of Aviation, Quvia. “That starts with an independent view of what passengers are actually experiencing in the cabin. LATAM is putting that foundation in place now with Quvia, adding the intelligence to make better decisions today and more flexibility in how its IFC environment evolves over time.”
